JSTS Face Mask

Mask is made of two layers of stretchy fabric. It attaches via elastic ear loops. The top, printed layer is shiny spandex/polyester with a tight but visible weave, the inner layer is matte black, contains cotton, and has a tighter weave. There is a gap between the layers on the left side to insert an additional layer of fabric or filter material if desired. A strip of elastic binding runs around the entire edge of the mask. The fabric was stitched to the binding when it was fully stretched out, so when it’s relaxed the fabric is bunched up. When you put it on, the fabric edges stretch to conform to the face. There is extra fabric at the top center to go over the nose. The label says that cotton, nylon, spandex and polyester contacts the skin. Washing instructions: “Lather mask in soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds and let hang dry. Do not dry in dryer”. The disclaimer that comes with the mask includes what appears to be CDC wording that the mask is not medical grade personal protective equipment, does not provide antimicrobial or antiviral protection, and that Strideline does not claim that it can prevent or reduce infections.
