We are hosting a new event this year. It's called the JSTS Family Day BBQ. As you may have guessed the idea is to encourage your family members to attend as well.
Where: Thompson Park located right next to Brookdale College. We will be at the Old Orchard Picnic Area. Go in through the main entrance and proceed straight all the way down to the parking lot at the end.
When: Sunday May 25, 2025 12 PM to 3PM
The club will be providing hamburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, snacks and soft drinks. There is no cost for this event but attendees are encouraged to bring a dish or dessert to share. Alcohol is NOT permitted in the park.
You can either do one of the BCC rides and have your family meet you at the park or forego the rides and just bring your family at noon. If you have younger children perhaps you may want to do a ride with them in the park itself (not JSTS sponsored ride).
You need to register separately for this event and not just sign up for a ride. Indicate how many guests you plan to have attending, and indicate if you would be willing to assist with the set-up, cooking or clean-up. Feel free to bring a game of your choice.
