Get ready for an unforgettable adventure! Back by popular demand, this year’s JSTS Summer Tour takes us to the stunning Shenandoah Valley in Front Royal, Virginia.
This is the same place we stayed at for the 2024 Summer Tour (everyone loved it!). We’ve reserved a block of rooms, and we encourage you to pair up with a fellow member to make the most of your stay. Instructions for how to book the hotel will be provided when you complete your registration on the JSTS website.

We have added some less hilly routes this year so you can choose from shorter, less hilly rides or tackle the epic longer rides for a challenge—there’s something for every level of cyclist!
Mike Lock has prepared an amazing collection of routes to choose from. There is an overall description on the right side prepared by Mike. Each individual route also has a description telling you where to park and where the rest stops are, if relevant. Sometimes a little route description also.
JSTS Shenandoah Valley Summer Tour 2025 - Route Collection
IMPORTANT - During the registration process you will be asked to indicate which route you think you will ride each day (short, medium, or long). The exact routes for each day have NOT been chosen yet, as we are simply looking for an indication of how many people are looking to ride each relative distance each day. This is NOT a commitment, but it will help everyone get an idea of what distance others are thinking of doing each day.
Evenings will include group dinners at local restaurants, while lunch options feature a grill at the hotel and nearby food stores.
