Goal
Based on membership feedback, we will be providing season long education on Safe Riding from both rider and ride leader perspective. Every 4 to 6 weeks, we will have a panel of 3 to 4 ride leaders speak on 2 or 3 aspects of riding. This will be information that will help educate our base which should translate into safe rides.

o Examples of what could be discussed;
§ why surging is not a good thing
§ how to maintain proper cadence with rider in front of you and why that is important
§ do's and don't when confronted with hostile drivers
§ importance of a paceline, what it should look like and why its bad to ride 2 or 3 across
§ When taking the lane for left turns, which rider has the responsibility to start that process
§ you get the idea ........
